KA24DE(S13) Lower Intake Manifold

I've searched forums, the FSM, and the car itself for hours and I still cannot figure out how to remove the lower intake manifold. I've already gotten the upper manifold removed, and my project is currently stalled due to my inability to figure this out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is a bracket that connects the block to the lower manifold, it is black. Also the heater core hoses connect to the lower manifold. I have no idea how you have the upper off but not the lower.

I already removed the two bolts from that bracket (I believe) the bolts were "underneath" the main portion of the lower manifold as it sits on the engine, correct? I will try removing the heater hose as well, since that could be the issue.

might just be stuck on there. trying getting some good leverage on it and see if it pops off
