1987 truck with a California DIESEL title(SMOG EXEMPT). Ideal for custom car enthusiasts in California.
It is under my name, clean, and has just been registered in July this year.
This is a Custom Mini Truck with Countless hours/money/love in fabrication/labor dumped into it. Base is a 1987 Mazda B2000(Ford Ranger) Longbed chassis.
Engine Drivetrain
- AFCO Drag Racing radiator
- Dual fans
-1998 Police Interceptor V8 (approx 167xxx)
-1998 Mustang 5 speed
- 2 piece driveshaft
- Exhaust is 2 glasspacks + 2 to1 muffler with a single side exit drivers side
sounds stock with normal driving but gives healthy tone when gassed
Suspension/Wheels/Tires
- Camaro shocks upfront
- Airbags all 4 corners
-Rear 4 link/ panhard
- Switches for front/rear controls
- Airpump
- 6lug OEM Wheels/meat on All tires
Exterior
- Tubbed long bed
- Kustom paint scheme
- Front bumper modified to fit radiator
Interior
-OEM interior
-OEM seatbelts
-Bench seat 7/10
-Trim 6/10
-Clean carpet
-New Steeringwheel
Cons
- rear end gave out recently
Healthy engine, if anything this is the 3rd stock diff it has blown. Personally, I may not have time to fix, but not in rush to sell. Engine/trans has complete and nice wiring. Has driven from Central California to Socal. Can and has been a daily.
The price has been well conpensated for undrivable condition due to the differential. probably chipped gears(can still crawl)
The unique thing about the truck is that it has gone through the effort of having a "DIESEL" title (seen on paperwork as FUEL TYPE "D" ) This allows it to be smog exempt in Cali. I registered it no problem smog free.
I was going to hold on to it in the hopes for a future diesel truck project, but now I am willing to part with it entirely.
Obviously title in itself has significant value and has needed alot of paperwork, effort, and trips to BAR inspections to make it happen.
It is a Great investment considering the unique title and smog exempt ownership.
Over 6G s in shop labor/fab in it.
