ok, see the big round part with the 4 flat spots on it, that screws off, you need to take a flat head screwdriver and bend the little tabs up then take the proper size wrench, use a 12" adjustable wrench if you dont have the proper open end, and it will screw off. do yourself a favor and buy aftermarket t/c rods, they are much better and have less flex due to the pillowball instead of the grease filled rubber unit. moog makes good tierods, and are relatively cheap. for the T/C rod bracket, and your bent lower control arm, hit up a junk yard or someone parting out a car.

Ya, new LCA with a good balljoint would do wonders for your driving feel. That ball joint looks to have been shot years ago. Swaybar endlink might be bent too.

TC rod
TC bracket
Lower contol arm w/ new ball joint
inner tie rod

he doesnt need to remove the TC rod, just unbolt the TC bracket, and unbolt the control arm, he needs new ones anyways, no need to remove the tc rod from the bracket or the LCA

That tie rod is as crooked as my conscious.. Start searching eBay, junkyards, and the classifieds on the forums. Replace anything bent or broken. Good luck!

I got lucky though.. absolutely nothing was wrong except the control arm.. so it wasnt a big deal, and it brought to my attention that my brakes where nonexistant... so I probably prevented my early demise by drinking and drifting that night.. or atleast I like to tell myself that so I odnt feel so dumb ;)

itll be easier to replace that whole rack. was for me. not that difficult. plus you wont have to mess with really f'd up alignment

Thats what I was originally going to do but just don't have the time right now got all the new parts ordered so I should have it fixed by next wednesday (parts don't come in till Friday)

so we'll see how bad it needs an alignment or if it rides like $H!T
