drive it really hard (around 6-7krpms) for about 10 minutes and then shut it down immeditately. Preface this by doing a cold start and running to redline and holding it there till the car warms up. Also, drain the oil beforehand. SR's run better with no oil.

what do you want?
Maintenance for SR is same as maintenance for every motor. Change your oil, check/change your sparkplugs, change your fuel filter every so often. It's common sense, man.

i'm talking about the turbo aspect of the motor, what things should i do to keep it running good? this is my first turbo car

Just the turbo?
The only thing you can REALLY do to keep it going well is make sure you give the turbo adequate time to idle down. Under full boost, turbine wheel speeds of 80-100,000 RPM is not uncommon. Shutting your engine down immediately after a full boost run will cause the oil that's feeding the turbo's bearings to stpo flowing, causing the little oil that remains to get rather hot and coke up, which will eventually cause seals to blow.
Buy a turbo timer.

i have a Blitz FATT timer, and i set it to 8 minutes, is that adequate time? or should i change it?

8 minutes is more than enough. If you're just driving around and not boosting, 20 seconds is plenty. If you're doing hard driving, ~5 minutes would be best. I have my Blitz set to default at 20 seconds, and increase that time for all the time i spend over 2k rpm.

remember - SRs are not some super special race engine. They're just a factory turbocharged engine. If you're still in your T25, I wouldn't stress over it. By the time it finally gets fucked up enough you have to replace it, you'll be ready to.

^what he said^
very simple and straight forward....cool down time and regular oil changes is really about it....

You mean the same mods that are in your sig that you post every time?
Sorry.. It's annoying to see 8+ lines of crap after every single post you make.
In fact.. go ahead and take that mod list out.. I feel a policy change coming on.
My guesstimate? 165whp, 160wtq.

the way to recirculate ANY bov it to route it's exhaust back into the intake (after the MAF)
On the stock piping, there's a tube specifically for this that connects to the stock BOV exhaust.
You can either tee into the hose or whatever. The idea is to get that charge air into the intake before the turbo and after the MAF.
