Will an S14 4-lug hub from an ABS car work on a non-ABS 4-lug '97 car? Will any S14 4-lug hub work or do I need non-ABS from a Kouki? Thanks for any help.

non-abs and abs hub only differ by the ring gear for the sensor.

So it shouldn't be a problem? If I understand correctly, any 4 lug S14 hub will work on my base model 1997 (non-ABS, 4-lug) car? I'm about to create a WTB thread for the hubs and I want to make sure that any old S14 4 lug hub will work or if I need to be more specific. Thank you.

Correct. Any S14 hub will work (1995-1998), 4 or 5 lug.

I recently bought a ABS 5 lug hub for my Zenki, I saw some replies saying it should work even tho it doesn’t have abs on 240’s. No problem I understand that. But does that mean that I should buy rotors with abs or without abs?? I just don’t want to buy the wrong ones.

I was going to do that but I got them off eBay, they were $260 and to return them it’s $80 so that’s why I wanted to see if these abs ones would work on my zenki. It’s non-abs but I read the the replies above and they said it should work. But I’m just confused if I were to use abs hubs without using the abs would I need to buy abs rotors or non abs rotors? Thanks for the help

ABS and non-ABS rotors, calipers, and pads are the same across all models.

looks like only for the s14's
S13 ABS rotors are different than non abs rotors (the abs are a larger diameter)
and s14 kouki's use different rotors than a 95-96 s14

I misspoke a bit here.
The poster who revived the thread asked if he should get ABS or non ABS rotors. I didn't realize that the thread had be revived and that he wasn't the OP.
With that being said you're correct. For a Zenki he'd have to buy non ABS rotors to fit his non ABS calipers.
As a rule of thumb: '89-'96 ABS rotors, '92-'94 convertible rotors, and '97-'98 rotors are all the same size, which is slightly larger than non ABS '89-'93 and '95-'96 rotors.

Thanks for the help guys appreciate it (: just ordered the non-abs rotors hope they work on my abs hubs, I think it should since I won’t be using the abs system right?
