So I recently purchased some Tanabe USA gauges, and I was going to test them out by twisting them up with the radio harness but I cannot seem to find a diagram. I have an SE 1997 240SX if that helps, the only wires I would need would be dimmer, ignition accessory, and constant power.

On the s13 the wires are labeled. If you disconnect the radio harness from the car, they are written on the side of the wire. Not sure if its the same with s14 though

Well I'm guessing the previous owner sliced it down pretty far because there are no labels at all.

Thank you sir, I saw that diagram earlier but I assumed 95-96 and 97-98 were different.

I have an s13, so i can't say for certain, but its worth a shot to try. You can also check online and find the factory service manual for your car and find it there

So I tried the blue wire and I don't think its an ignition acc. Could be wrong but controller and gauges are not illuminating....
