CAR IS SOLD
Decided to put this out there for anyone interested. I'm not in a hurry to sell and might just keep building it if I don't get my asking price.
I purchased this car bone stock in 2006 with 107,xxx miles on it from an elderly gentleman who took very good care of it and have loved it ever since. The car currently has only 123,xxx miles so I really did not drive it much in the close to ten years I've owned it. Never even tracked it. It's been garaged or in covered parking it's entire life and many of the parts listed below are still basically new. There are a few items such as the Do-Luck bar stabilizers that are very rare (I'm pretty sure these are the only pair in the U.S.). It's an original AZ car so there is absolutely no rust and the underside looks great. EVERYTHING WORKS AS IT SHOULD! YES EVERYTHING (besides the airbags of course and the Broadfield gauge setup was never hooked up... I do have the sensors and everything for them brand new in their original bags).
I know a lot of people will freak out over the price because of the KA but considering how hard it is to find one this clean, the amount of time/money put into it, working heat/ac, emissions ready/street legal and CLEAN TITLE I'm asking 11k. I can take 1k off if you bring your own wheels or I can remove the steering wheel for some money off. Add up the paid prices (most are priced low) listed below and it's a little over 15k in parts alone. There are a lot of smaller bits that I did not include. I have receipts for a lot of this stuff. -1 very minor 5mph accident from the previous owner shown on the carfax which he disclosed. He rear ended someone and basically had the front bumper replaced.
-Tires are kinda old but still useable
-Front passenger fender has very slight bacon to it
-AC compressor is kinda noisy when it's not on. Most people don't even notice it though.
-Makes a noise sometimes under decel. Most likely the infamous input shaft bearing noise that almost all 240s have. Again most people don't notice.
-Drives good but could use an alignment if you want it perfect
-There may be a small leak at the gas tank. Small wet line on the underside but does not drip.
-Paint is not 100% perfect... but still looks good overall.
