240sx 89 swap to sr20det s15

Fist i wanna say hello to all of u because its my first topic and post.

I a french from quebec so please do not laught about my english :( !! :cry:

Ok . I have a nissan 240sx 1989 and i buy an nissan sr20det s15 1999.
The motor are SUPER clean !

So did somebody know what i have to do whit the harness ! ?
I have an OBD1 on my KA24 . and i have a OBD2 on my sr20det ...
What can i do with that ? did u have an idea where i can buy an adapter or something ?

and what about the speedometer ... do u know what can i do .. ?
i have to pu an digital speedometer or what because i have the 6 speed tranny and i dont have the s15 differential ..

i know i have to cut the drive shaft and balance it .. but for the rest its a little surprise for me !?!


so please i need ur help somebody ! ?

First a would like to suggest you to go on npclub.com you can have some help more locally for your project :)

2.. try to get an full harness from a s15 .. i think it will be extra pricey but its the only way i know for sure that this gonna work .. if not it will be quite something to make it fit

i've got the complète harness with the engine , but only for the reste it dosen't fix .. i have to command the complete cluster and all the other things ?

Ok, I'm sure everyone knows Heavy Throttle. www.srswap.com ask them about the wiring harness conversion. They have someone that does it for them, and I'm sure he's done this before. Also remember that you need the S15 rearend or your speedo won't work. In S14 and S13, the speedometer sensor was in the tranny, but in the S15 it's in the rearend.
