Paint Jobs

On spoilers.com there is a picture of a s14's rear. Some reason the site is not working right now, but it looks like they painted in the middle part of the tail lights. (it's the green one with the battle-gtr wing) Do you think they just painted right over the middle part,  or is there like some other trick to it. (Im planning on getting a smooth orange paintjob, along with that spoiler...thats why I need to know if its that easy.)

I didnt go look at the one picture you are describing but here is a picture of what I have planned for my car. I like the way stock looks but I would love to have this on my 240 once I get more stuff done to it. I also want to get that rear bumper, its clean looking and cheap <img src="#/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

You can paint over the plastic and it will stay, just make sure you get someone that will do quality work.
