I plan on swapping a SR20DET(Notch Top) into my 95 s14 zenki after winter, this would be my first swap
. I plan on buying a engine from http://www.texasjdmengines.com/ . I just have a few question on this swap.

1.) Has anyone bought a enigne from http://www.texasjdmengines.com/ ? How was the condition of everything.

2.)Would I want to install new motor mounts? I know ka/sr uses the same mounts but would it be smart just to use new ones ? http://www.enjukuracing.com/products/nismo-motor-and-tranny-mounts-nissan-240sx-sr20det.html

3.) best intercooler? I was thinking of going with http://www.enjukuracing.com/products/isis-performance-m-spec-front-mount-intercooler-kit-nissan-sr20det-s14.html .

4.) any tips?
ps. sorry if this is wrong section. :)

Never ran an ISIS I/C but looks like it will do the job. If your mounts are good I'd continue to run them. If you can't do the work yourself, might as well have them changed while the Engine is out.

Tips

Don't use E-fans, or buy a a jagillion parts that get net you no real performance. Get a fuel pump, electronic boost controller and call it a day until your ready to make some real power.

I have used the following:

Walbro $ 10 yrs of use, 4-5 sitting in a stored car no issues.

Aeromotive 340 $$ granted install in a ER34 pump caused me more issues that it was worth, Aeromotive supported their product and good Customer Service, I would never buy again. Same brand in my Friends FD worked great.

Sard 265 $$$ This pump is underrated and over priced but bad ass. I used it on the ER34 worked like a charmed only seen one company selling them and were special order.

Walbro, would be my choice, I brought the Sard's cause I needed a pump in a jam.

EBC

Blitz SBC ID all the way on my fifth one none ever broke just sold cars or gained a new one.

I just did my swap about 2 weeks ago in my 95 as well and I got the Isis fmic kit. It works and gets the job done, but there are a little fitment issues. Right now only one tab is holding the ic up. Also the s14 ic pipes Isis kit comes with has on flange for a bov. So ur gonna have to get one welded on. I put mine on the cold pipe about 10-12in away from the TB. Also with the pipes there is a large nipple that connects to the IACV but it's really close to my fan so I have it temporarily blocked. But I'm going to try and see if I can adjust the position of the cold pipe or cut it and move it alil closer to the TB to create clearance for my fan shroud. Also, hopefully u don't to eager like I did but ur going to have to relocate the battery to the trunk if u want FMIC. I forgot and had to wait a week (I did the swap at my dads I only see him on the weekends) so don't forget that. But I got lucky, the sr I got was flawless and had to be super low mileage, 180 on all cylinders when doing the compression test. but changed the water pump, all the belts the only thing aftermarket on the engine was ss turbo lines so I didn't have to buy those. The thermostat. I'd stick with the clutch fan and order the fan shroud of enjukuracing but it took a month and a half to get it. I went with the wiring specialties wiring harness no problem there. I drained the engine of any type of fluid, and befor start up added oil and a lil ATF and let the car idle for like a 30mins. Then drained it again and changed oil filter and full synthetic. For the oil filter I read you can use the 95 ser one but it didn't seem to fit and the size of it was physically bigger(could of been a mistake at the store) but the second time I bought a 02 z33 one and that worked like a charm.
