Hey, found this while looking for a Roll Bar... http://procart2.evocative.com/freyracing/item.jsp?item=PIC001&category=
Anyone seen this type before? Im guessing you have to remove the three screws each time... but what do they screw in to?

if you have to remove the 3 screws each time, i dont consider that a quick release. btw in your sig theres a bunch of cars that look all nice and race ready except for that NEON behind you.

Yeh, Neons are on G-Stock too i guess. The nicer cars arent even in my class, that was the second grid lining up for the next run group... probly CSP or sumthing

"Quick release adaptor that takes you 6 bolt / 70mm bolt circle MOMO or SPARCO Steering wheel and allows it to be removed for ease of entry and exit into your car." nobody bothered to practice reading comprehension?? it attaches to your steering wheel and the other part to your column piece... it makes total sense...

You've obviously never seen a 240's "column piece" before. The hub attaches to the column with a single nut, not three screws. You couldn't attach it to the hub with those three screws either.
See, the thing about quick releases is that they all consist of two parts: one that attaches to the hub, and another that attaches to the steering wheel. These two parts then connect and disconnect with each other.
This $35 quick release only has one piece, which causes me to ask "how the fuck does that piece of shit even work?!"
Thanks for your help dingus.

the adapter is in three pieces one piece bolt to the column, the next bolts to that using the three big screws, the third piece bolts to your steering wheel.

It's not a hub. Quick releases go between the hub and the steering wheel. Quick releases are pattern-specific (nardi, momo, etc.), unlike hubs which which are vehicle specific.
the adapter is in three pieces one piece bolt to the column, the next bolts to that using the three big screws, the third piece bolts to your steering wheel.
I can guarantee that it doesn't bolt to the column; Like I said before, that's what the hub is for.
Maybe there are more pieces... if that's the case, then they should really put all that in the picture, as it's easy to get confused by a picture of one half of a funky quick release, six small screws, and three big screws.

This I can agree with. :D
Seriously though, who would actually consider buying some cheesy piece like that anyway? Save the $35 for something worthwhile... like some delicious Racer's Blend Coffee! Just attach your steering wheel to the hub with three screws and throw an allen wrench in your console. Same damn thing.

be a guinea pig for us and buy it.. its cheap...
EDIT- My guess is that it is stated as a "Adapter"... i think go carts and some race cars use 3 bolt steering wheels, and this is an adapter to mount asseblys for other steering wheels... at least thats what it looks like. http://www.ompusa.com/images/buttons/New%20Folder%20(2)/alfan.jpg
got a GB here for a spin quick release
