So i just reset my ignition timing for the third time and i know it is correct. it idles fine but the second i hit the gas pedal i can hear a grumbling noise from the intake. i know the motor is timed correctly and i know that the ignition isnt a tooth off what else could it possibly be, i know its not fuel because i had it driving literally 2 days ago and havent touched a thing. i can floor the pedal and there is 0 difference to the idle except for the noise out of the intake

Start with the simple stuff first, vacuum leaks or dirty throttle body/IAC valve. I would still check fuel pressure under a load just to rule it out though

Broken throttle cable or throttle body.

Ok the first thing you do is tell us make model, engine what have you'
Then look under the hood for visuals, then pull codes.
If you set ign timing by locking the ecu into timing with tps unplugged, or consult or consult program? Usually with tps unplugged you have to rev the engine and that's what i would be asking you. "how did it rev when locking into timing mode?" if you used the falling edge technique the timing is wrong, but you should still be able to rev. Did you plug the tps back in? Did you manually open the throttle body, with your hands? See why its important to disclose certain things? gl
