Ok, so Saturday I moved into the dorms at SMTC, monday I had my first class, and went home.
The classes are complete BS. The teachers there basically give you a book and say answer the questions in it, so I would have been wasting 10 thousand dollars a year.
Instead i'm going to go to Maine Photographic Workshops. They've got exactly what I want (a more art based program) and the students there are serious about the field they're in, unlike the people at SMTC who seem to be the type to dabble in HTML every once in a while and say "hey, I'll go to college for this."
Until I go to school next fall... i'll hopefully be working a decent amount. There's a job open by me for a graphic designer that i'm hoping to get.
