AC stopped working.....

Hi, My AC was working fine for awhile but then just stopped working recently. It couldn't be a leak since the technician checked for leaks and it turned out ok also the Frion is brand new. Right now im guessing there might be something wrong with the coolant temperatures sensor because the manual book says that when the coolant temp approaches a high temp it will shutoff the AC automatically. Could this be the problem? What else could be causing the AC to not blow cold air anymore? Any help will be great, thanks.

Just stopped blowing cold, any suggestions or things we can check our selves? I have a 91 base.

Who was the technician that checked your car? He could have screwed you by just telling you there's no leaks while he charges you for the R-134a.

My ac just went out too and I know I got a leak. I filled it up myself and it was fine for a day. Next morning I went out and turned it on and all it did was blow hot air. I checked the ac line too and of course it said it was empty. I have been trying to get used to the heat though so whatever.

Well im pretty sure its not a leak because it worked for like a month or more. It could be the oil in the compressor cause when the low pressure pipe broke all the oil spilled out so im not sure if its because of low oil. Any one here know what kind of oil i should put in and where to fill it?
