Hey,
I just purchased a S14SR20 for my s14 and I have a question
My motor didnt come with the recirculating valve stuff and Im not planning to install a atmospheric bov. Do i have to source the OEM plastics etc or is there a kit i can get to get this thing working?
sorry new to this.

I was in a similar boat as you, i only had a bov and it was horrible.
I made my own recirc setup by buying a new OEM 1.8t jetta bypass valve and plumbing it between the hot pipe and the intake. Works really well, the valve was around 70$ and I had to find some hose and clamps.

what did you use for plumbing? rubber hose? or steel tube?
sigh, i really wish mine came with that piece...

You can purchase the apexi filter/intake kit and it has provisions for a recirc tube.

^I think he's talking about the plastic tube that goes over the front of the valve cover on notchtop motors.
Your only bet is to find someone selling that with the rubber hoses(they are molded, regular hose could work but won't fit well), or have your BOV flange welded onto the hot pipe near the recirc provision on the rubber intake and run a short hose from the bov to that, kind of like this:

Where is your creativity?
Hose clamps, rubber hose, and 90* fittings.
don't quote me but would a DSM bov work?
