Is there an easier way to put in a HUD/cluster without taking the dash apart? and for people that got HUD, my coupe didn't come with the fuse kick panel, so if someone could post up which fuse goes to what circuit would help. thanks in advance.

1) No.
2) Why do you need to know what fuse goes to what to put in a Digital Cluster/HUD?

i have no idea abotu what fuse your talking about. i junked a digital cluster + hud + sub-harness from a zenki s13 coupe, and put it into my 92 240sx fastback . swapped tachs of course. digital speed on hud and cluster work perfectly fine. so i have no idea what fuse your talking about....

sorry for the confusion... i was asking two seperate questions... my 92 240 coupe came stock with the digital HUD... and then it went out, so i was asking if there was an easier way of putting in a new one without following what the FSM says...then i was wondering if someone could post up the fuse panel chart from their interior fuse kickpanel. mines didn't come with the car when i got it, so i was asking for people with stock HUD's to post up the chart. from my understanding, the HUD models came with a few more fuses. correct me if i'm wrong. anyways i got the new HUD in today, so the first question is already answered, but if anyone wants to post up the chart...please do.

oh KAZUO... yes there is an easier way. take off the panels around the steering column and the cluster "bezel".. unplug everything in that and very carefully turn the bezel clockwise and it should come out.

Yeah, and you can also break it that way. Don't ask me how I know.
Dropping the column takes me like 5 mins. You can ask "phrozen" here on the forums, he's seen me do it.
It's not hard :)

If yoru thinking a fuse is controlilng your digital hud, it isn't.... most huds go bad as is. i junked one, and it thought it didn't work. but for some odd reason it works perfectly fine when the car is hot.
