Z32 transmission problems

I have a 1990 z32 that wont shift out of second, no reverse, neutral is drive, and gear indicator is wrong. Park is park, reverse is neutral, neutral is drive, so on and so forth. My ebrake is stuck slightly engaged, there's lots of play in it. I can pull it 85% before it starts engaging. Any ideas on what my problems might be, and how to fix it.

Maybe try a 5spd swap?

sounds like your shift linkage is messed up. put the car up on jacks and start inspecting.

for the ebrake, you'll have to pull the rear calipers and rotors off to inspect the shoes. make sure the cable is properly routed and not over tightened
