Trying this again. I have for sale/trade a near mint condition 1990 240sx coupe for sale
I would prefer a trade of some sort

Cash Price: $7000
I can add up to $3000 on top for the trade, I also don't mind a trade for a shell with money on top and anything in between let me know what you have !
I am interested in the following:
-LS / 1JZ / RB swapped cars
-S13 hatchback
-S14 Kouki
-S13 Silvia Coupe

Car details
-near mint paint, a couple very small chips where front bumper ends
-3 small dents (can be pulled out easy but I haven't gotten around to it)
-Full interior, has a cigarette butt burn mark in the back seat and missing a small plastic cover by where the cigarette lighter is
-Ka24e with stock headers and cat
-Muffler cut out but all stock piping is there so you can replace easily, original muffler had a whole and I decided to just cut and weld a pipe
-New Clutch, Flywheel, and bearings
-60k Original Miles
-Clean Title Registered as Classic Vehicle
Feel free to ask any questions
Car currently has a bad wheel bearing but I am going to fix it in a week or two once I get the part.

Someone would actually pay good money for this car, but not in this shit color combination. It has to be the worst interior color every made.

I'd like to see proof of the fucking price paid for this thing. I think you're a God damn liar. I bought one JUST LIKE THIS a year ago in California for $3400. It was an automatic, KA24DE, working HUD, and working AC. Same color combination.

You're a liar. You're just here to make money of Nissan enthusiasts and that's deplorable.

here you go. no need for the offensive language, you could've asked nicely without accusing me of being a liar

with taxes title transfer, and all parts that are coming with car it totaled 15k, and that is what i am asking, it is obo... if you don't like my price you don't have to reply

I very rarely post, but I have to say, this has to be the most pristine factory S13 coupe I've seen up to date. If this 240SX had HUD, no sunroof, and were in Ivory White, I would pay your asking price.

Good luck with sale!

What you have here is amazing...

Fair enough. I apologize for calling you a liar. That price is ridiculous, though (from the website). Similar mileage Silvia K's from Japan will go for $8,000 and similar miles. I'm only telling you this because I don't think you know what you can (reasonably) expect from this forum. You're better off hoarding this for a couple more years, fixing the clutch, and then trying to sell it.

GLWS.

beautiful car. but god damn 15k. why would you buy this when you could have got so much better. you could fully build one with that kind of cash.

gonna be tough to sell for that price, except for people who got heavy wallets.

GLWS though, one of thee most, thee most cleanest virgin 240 i've seen.

That asking price is making you look clueless. I'd go $7000 MAYBE

$15,000 would get a gtr shipped or 2 Silvia's

Even $7,000 is on the high side.

I can appreciate the cleanliness of this car, but it's not exactly a collectible color combination or year/model.

Something like an 100% original two-tone coupe (seafoam green), SE with HUD, original windshield, factory 5-speed, SE lip, mudguards, etc. I can see this fetching a good amount. Mint paint, crack-free dash.

I bought my '92 Hatch with 40k miles for $2500. Yes, 8 years ago, but even today this same car wouldn't fetch anything above $5k.

Fair enough, I'm just going to fix the car and keep it since it doesn't seem to be worth anywhere near what was paid for it. Mods you can lock up the thread

In all honesty, the car is gorgeous and in awesome shape but without a doubt you were ripped off. I don't know how and why you would pay that much. You could of gotten, skyline, fully built kouki,ls1,2,3,4,5,6,7 kouki for that amount.

I wish you nothing but the best with the car, school and common sense.

If i cant sell a freshly professional painted OEM KG2 DARK Grey s13, redtop SR with full type x kit with nearly everything JDM for 12k, what makes you think you can get 15k for yours loooooool. I hope to god you sell yours for 15k, cause then that means my car will be posted for 20k.

You finally figured out you got ripped off....OP .... the car is a great example of a s13 coupe in almost mint shape...unfortunately your knowledge of this chassis type is not as vast as you thought. That lack of knowledge led you to vastly over pay for this car, the car is not without merits but its also not worth as much as you're asking nor what you paid......someone may pay your price as evidenced by you buying it, but that will be a needle in a haystack senario.

Please seek some advice for your future plans concerning the car...realistically its worth $6500-$7000 to the serious people in the S chassis community and a little less to the general members. Repair the clutch and get some enjoyment from the car.
I'd advise against modding it too much if you intend on selling it at some point again, keeping the financial input small to limit the loss....There are quite a few s chassis lovers who will pay fair market value for this car including me and speaking for myself, i'd rather pay top dollar for a clean un modded car than a modded one....

LMFAO....good luck with the sale bud. If you are looking to get that price for it try and see if the older collector type buyer would be interested. I dont think you will get near your asking price but hopefully a good offer. The car is super clean and worth some cash to someone out there.

7000 still really steep. I got my one owner 98 se kouki with 100k for 4000. I think local classifieds are the only way your going to sell it.

Very clean. Champagne Pearl was never a popular color, especially with the brown interior. Given its condition, 5-speed and XE model I'd say its in the $5000 range with all the small issues addressed.
