87270I was recently in an accident and my radiator support was pushed back like 2 inches on the driver side of my coupe. Would tubing the front end be the best solution? And if it is where can I get this work done? Located in so cal thanks87270
Pictures would help :ugh:

hey i didn't realize that a forum on the internet was now a bodyshop!!! NEET.
Bruh, get your ass to a body shop, and get an estimate. if its JUST the upper radiator support, its not a complicated fix. if its the LOWER rad support, your frame may be bent also, and it will need to be pulled (if possible) before you could even tube it.
asking suuuuuuuuuper vague questions to complete strangers on the internet is a fantastic way to get flamed, next time at least provide photos of the damage so we at least have something to work with. :picardfp:

Sally gets in an accident and there is an insurance claim.
Her car goes to the body shop and she gets an estimate.
HAVE you ever in your life had a friend whos car was in an accident that came back from the body shop with a tube front end? NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This isn't fast and the furious.
They get a new core support
Yank it all the shit back to spec
Weld that core support back on and slap all your shit back on.

That's assuming sally has insurance.

Okay she doesn't have insurance...
She doesn't know how to weld
She doesn't have a pipe bender
She has no fab experience.
It'd still be easier and probably cheaper to get the core support replaced than a decent tube front.
I hit a deer and punched in just the upper part of my driver side core support, with some mallets, an engine hoist, and a couple chains/pry bars i was able to get it close enough that everything fit.

op the photo you posted looks like very minor damage. Most likely you can pull it relatively straight yourself. No need to go tube frame.
It seems like there is this trend of people thinking that they need a 372 point roll cage and 382485 dimple die plates and a jungle gym tube front on every s-chassis. Its completely unnecessary on a street car.
