Getting a set of Corbeau seats as part of a trade however they are red and faded. I did some searching and found it to be too much to get them reupholstered. I've only found some generic seat covers but I had them in my 240 before and hated them. Is there one that conforms more to reclinable racing seats? Any ideas on how to make my own? I want it to look like there isnt a cover on them as much as possible.

why not get some sheepskin covers upholstered, you'll be the first in the community to have those....

edit, nevermind... (sigh)

re-dye them red? or a darker color???????? no need to reupholster them if they aren't torn, especially if they're just cordeau's lol

With sparco you can just buy the fabric cover itself for less than $200. Then it'll technically be a brand new seat. Maybe they are available

Idk how much I trust my abilities to reuphoster a seat. Could try on my beat s13 seats but I don't want to fuck up these corbeaus too much bc they are the only seats I have for this Sentra. I read up on the duplicolor stuff and heard some mixed reviews. Some said it lasted them 2 years, others 2 months. This will be my daily and it will be exposed to sub zero temps and 90+ with humidity.

Anybody know how s13 seats will fit on b13 rails?

Think Im sold on the duplicolor stuff. Now to figure out carpeting ideas since its all gutted. Probably just some spray adhesive and some unbacked carpet.

the duplicolor will wear out so fast. I did my carpets with them and even on the passenger side where fewer people sit. I can't imagine how fast a seat would wear out...

Doesnt matter when theres no carpet to begin with and I like the idea of not having the extra weight

Wait.....did you just say the non-backed carpets save weight? I mean scientifically yes but do you think the weight difference between backed/unbacked carpets will make a significant difference??

I had some Hello Kitty covers on my stock seats for a awhile.....
kicked em to the curb because they kept coming off or getting scrunched up
Itasha seat covers would be boss though
I suppose in reality air covers seats, so technically if you don't sit in them they already have seat covers

Gawd am I helpful
I hope that helped

No pics of the seats. Like I said Ill prob try the duplicolor stuff. If it doesnt work Ill try my hand at reupholstering them. First I have to figure out how Im gonna get them in there. Ill prob have to make brackets or maybe see about modifying s13 rails to go into a b13

I bolted a b13 passenger seat in my s13 one time, I think three of the locations lined up.

So what youre saying is I could use s13 rails with minor modifications?

Possibly, wouldn't hurt to try.
