Sticker Design....

Due to overwelming demand for the stickers and the availiblity of stickers I am considering making a batch of them for us members.

All we need now is a design. Something simple but quality looking. I could do a design but dont have the time or patiance right now to do one. I know a few of you are good at these things so maybe scetch out some ideas or for you Photoshop experts do up a design that would look good as a vinyl sticker. Let me know what everyone wants as far as the design.

Get a s14 slivia emblem type font.  That looks sleek.

if you want, just check out www.stickercity.com.  you can customize your own sticker whether it be for your own car or for a website (this one for example)  I would TRY to post a picture, but on all forums, I can never remember what to do...so yeah.  you can change fonts, colors, size etc.  I mean it may not be good enough, but if we do have some artists here, then I bet that would be better quality looking.  my brother is an artist, I'll try to talk him into helping me/us out here in this stump!!  well I'll get back to ya, but check out stickercity.com if you'd like

I'm pretty good at logos in stuffs, though I do kinda like the current &quot;Zilvia.net&quot; logo. .. Just me though <img src="#/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

I'll look into the fontface on the silvia and see if I cam get something comperable into a logo for y'all. Is this a color logo or black and white/etched glass, etc. .

I draw and doodle a good bit when I got the time. &nbsp;I could probably submit an entry if I can find the time. &nbsp;Although, I do like the Zilvia.net logo on the site.

Yea. Something simple. I would use the Zilvia.net Logo but there really isnt one and its way to complex for a sticker... I think.

Here is the unofficial logo, I could get rid of the 240SX &amp; 300ZX part. But this would look ugly in a sticker as it would be a solid reqtangle sticker. Something in a transpart light or dark type sticker and only have the text of Zilvia.net would be cool IMHO. Not sure what kind of material I am talking about though.

As a former pre-press graphic designer... are you guys willing to shell out for 4 color process? That's going to be pretty pricey. You might want to stick to vector type artistry to stay within maybe 2 colors. 4 color process in small orders will cost MUCH $$$!

West, you'll have to make a choice on this one pretty quick before everyone would-be self-declared PS afficianado is e-mailing you crappy 72ppi rasters. Not to rag on anyone in particular, but I know how this field works :/

Agree with you on the 4-color process price Yoshi. &nbsp;I used to work at a decal printing company (darn, wish I was still there to get a good deal on this job) and our press-runners hated doing 4-color process on the silk-screen printers--very difficult to keep registration straight. &nbsp;Offset printing is more expensive, too. &nbsp;I know a lady that could probably get us a decent deal on the decals, but I know they're minimum order is $300. &nbsp;Once we get some ideas flowing in and we find out how many we want to order, I'll give her a call and see what she can do for us. &nbsp;She used to have a 98 240sx, too! hehe

hey every1 to stop all the confustion and get down to the design here is the deal i am making the stickers for Mark and i would like to keep it one color and it is going to be 7&quot;x1&quot; to place on the side window so just send him the design and we will vote on it on the site

u should also mention technical stuff, printers (the professional ppl who do process, not your silly HP! ;P hehee) can't use anything that's not AT LEAST 200ppi, or it will look like total crap... 72 would prolly be better for posting on the webpage for voting purposes, but a final product needs be AT LEAST 200ppi! (and for 1 color, you'd prolly be best off with vector created images)

The &quot;vengeance&quot; idea looks really cool, but as a banner on a site. Well, I'd never put a picture of a piece of a girl on my car LoL. I think a sleek, agressive, sporty one-color type of a sticker would be awesome. (Agreeing with Ian). So... I'm going to go brainstorm.
