Whats up everybody! Ok so i'm completely new to the whole forum thing. This is super confusing! It took me about 10 minutes just to figure out how to start a new thread :/ So who saw that motor trend special on the LS swap?? What did you think? yay or nay?

Haha dang that sucks! I had the same luck when I was looking for a miata, then I just ended up getting a 240. It was pretty much a gift. Are you shopping on craigslist?

Quoting is where in a long string of posts, you can reply to a certain person by putting their post in quotes, like this:

Damn that makes soo much more sense now. Ok I got it. So if you buy the car tomorrow, do you have a certain place that you scoop up your parts from? Just out of curiosity. Or do you do the eBay route?

There is a place very close to me called JEI, or Japanese Engine Import. They sell Engines, front ends, seats, and more so I can go through them for most stuff, but I will go to ebay for stuff like harnesses.

Oh sweet, the eBay specials. Before you start building, you have to watch the $5,000 missile car build by network A. Its on youtube. You might get some ideas. Will this car be a daily driver?

I did an autocross race in my friend's 335i bimmer and man it would have been more fun if his suspension was more sporty. This car handled like an effin camry! sooo much body roll..

Im talking about in general. No matter what you do to your car, some people will like it and some will hate it. Do what makes you happy regardless of what anyone says. My vote goes to preserving OEM integrity though
