View Full Version : S13 RHD power steering hose HELP

So my high pressure power steering hose went on my RHD S13 and I got a hold of a LHD hose really cheap thinking it was the same, and that the hardlines are what makes LHD and RHD different.

Well I went to take mine off and soon found that the high pressure hose DOES NOT disconnect from the hardline that goes to the rack. It's actually just one line (as pictured in the first photo).

I want a work around, but those aftermarket high pressure hoses (like Isis) won't work because my hose would have to be a whole 2 feet or more longer. So I figured, I can keep my LHD OEM high pressure hose I got from a friend, and get a line that goes from the junction to the rack, making it two hoses instead of one super long one.

Anyone know where I can source some stuff like this? I believe Isis sells the fitting that goes into the rack, but does anyone know what size fitting would go into high pressure hose side (as pictured in the 2nd photo circled in red)? Not sure if it's the same size as the rack fitting. Also, any particular hose I should buy? Really new to this stuff so any info to point me in the right direction will help.
