R32 and S13 are not the same but can work, Although it would look and fit like shit. Tested with R32 and S13 side by side the other day. 100% Confirmed. No need to wonder any longer.
The holes line up, but the way the mirror rests on the door and door trim is different. Also the depth of the mounting plate is different.

Interesting. It did seem that one hole would be kinda a pain to use but could work. At least they look presentable on there! I believe r32 Ganador would be an issue though since they rest on the door itself. Hard to say.

thanks! i think they actually look better than ganadors on a car with no kit or anything.

lining the holes definitely took more work than with my ganadors.

the reason for 2 bolts was that the top hole of the driver side mirror was actually a different size than the other bolt holes for some reason. however it still sits pretty well on the car.

Also I remember I bought a set of s15 ganadors and they didnt fit at all on s14 but fit almost perfect on s13. I think if I get another set of ganadors ill get the ones with the blinkers in them they are sweet.

brndck's s13.4 had them.

Stock 350z mirrors. they will fit on s13, possibly on s14 but i've never tried it.
they are powered, you can splice the wiring into the stock s-chassis wiring. i never bothered to, didn't care that much.

I had the stock mirror mount customized to be flat so I could mount the mirrors onto them. Work was done by Rob Smith of Robkabob designs, in Palmdale,CA.

I had S15 Ganador mirrors on my S13 at one point in time. One of the holes didn't line up and had to be drilled. There was a slight gap between the bottom of the mirrors and the door. I never wired them up so I can't comment on that.

If you have S13 Gandadors, you might be better off selling them and buying S15 ones. I see those fairly often on the auctions but don't see the S13 version nearly as much.

s13 ganadors go for more than s15 usually. mainly due to the fact that americans are interested and bidding on them. youre looking at 35k minimum for decent ones either way. however, ive seen more deals on s15 ones than s13.

with the yen rate the way it is currently everything is going to be expensive.

Bringing this thread back from the dead because I couldn't find many good pictures/reviews of the gktech areo mirrors. They're pretty much the only aero mirror option for us LHD guys who want to retain mirror functionality so I figured I'd post up some pics since I just scooped a set.

Considering these go for under $100 shipped on FRsport I'm surprised by the quality, they adjust smoothly and the glass doesn't shake around or move when driving. Compared to the east bears I had on my hatch these are much better in terms of construction. I'm not sure if I'm sold on the look with my otherwise stock aero but that's more of a subjective thing. These are definitely a good affordable option for those seeking a decent areo mirror, especially for LHD guys.

I agree, although they don't seem to tilt up nearly as much as the eBay led ganador reps do. They actually sit at more or less the same angle as my friends authentic ganadors, I'll have to grab pic with the cars next to each other for reference sometime. That said, I'm going to rock these for a bit while I track down a nice set of aeromakers. I figured I would give these a shot but after seeing them on the car I found that I prefer the look of the east bear/aeromaker to ganador style and I'm willing to give up functionality for the look lol.

I feel the same way about my Ganadors. I have a broadview rear view mirror that is curved which helps me out.

I never had major issues seeing out of my Ganador mirrors on my S13. The passenger side mirror is more or less worthless for sure, but that is easily solved by turning your head and checking your blind spot. I could see out of the driver's side mirror if I leaned forward slightly. Surprisingly, I could see fairly well out of my East Bears.

I know a lot of people buy those circular adhesive blind spot mirrors and add those- they just don't look the best unfortunately.
