just got car. stock dohc with turbo kit. fmic and sr injectors. has some nis tune ecu with "base tube" runs rich. should stock ecu be able to hold. runs and drives now just spits and sputters as to much fuel under throttle. pops and backfires as well way to much fuel

Stock Ecu will do even worse.

thats what im saying but its def gettng way to much fuel. pulls solid first gear but other gears depending how much throttle you give and how fast it may pull good and not cut sometimes it will. did find a leaky bov. gonna try a stock ecu see what happens

Hook up a Ka24e automatic ecu, you should find it runs a tonne better

Pop out your ECU and open the case (4 screws). If it has Nistune it will have a mini board floating above the main one.
Why are you trying to switch out a Nistuned ECU for a stock one? You must be trolling.

not trying to switch out ecu trying to figure out why the base map tune sucks so bad and also he had said he used a stock ecu before and ran fine but he didnt have a AFR so he never saw the readings i wanna try a stock ecu and see what the afr will be so i can move it to a shop to be tuned

Just pop the ecu cover and check if theres a big extra board soldered to it first

A STOCK ECU WILL NOT MAKE THINGS ANY BETTER FOR THE 3rdTIME!!!!
Pop open the damn current ecu and see if the ECU is chipped or not. God damn!
