Hacked!!

Ok i just tried to order a boost controller from rollhard.com and when i clicked to submit my order a screen came up that said "hacked" on the top. What is that, some joke or a error, or doe's someone out there now have my credit card #. I did'nt get a confirmation reply from the site so i'm assuming they did'nt get the order, can someone tell if this happened to them, please.

I got an e-mail warning from my work..

go to norton.com and download a virus remedy.

Oh yeah...warn ur friends cuz it is a worm virus...it'll send it out to everyone in ur address book.

The Code Red Worm is a type of computer virus that spreads using computer networks, rather than through things such as infected e-mail attachments. It infects Microsoft NT web servers that do not have the most current operating system programs loaded. Once a web server is infected it is defaced with a "You have been hacked" message. The virus then scans the Internet looking for other computers to infect, and as more and more computers are infected the scanning gets more widespread.

yeah 95silvia is right..... it was on the news because this one was so big..... it infected lots of websites that use the NT system.....

of course i'm right ...

I would call rollhard.com (they should have a customer service number to call) and ask them if they received your order.  Then you should call your credit card company and inform them about the situation and the message you received and have them cancel your card--just to be on the safe side.  If the credit card company can't trace an unapproved charge (one that you did not make), you may not get the money back and you will have to pay it back.  

I have been through this before--I had over $500 drawn out of my account w/ my debit card #, and I never received the money back because the bank couldn't trace it to prove it was an unauthorized charge.

Thats funny how all that stuff happened, someone just sent me a wierd email today. This is what it said..

I Dont have a #### clue why the sending me crap like this. Especially when there is an attatchment that has the word virus in it.. What do they expect me to do..hit download? lol.
