First off, I just signed up here today and this is my first post.
I've been very indecisive on what car to purchase...it's between a challenger scat pack or a 300zx turbo which will always have a place in my heart as I'm a 90's kid. Obviously the 300zx is the better option financially and that's why I'm definitely leaning towards it. Now, I've searched ebay and from what I recall, they're going anywhere upwards of 15k. I want one with no more than 75k miles. I then did a quick Google search and found some sites in which I can get one for around 10k. I don't really care if the body is scratched up as I would likely paint it and also get some new rims. So my question is, does anyone know what a decent price would be? Or anyone have any tips when buying one? Thanks!

10k would get you a nice one from japan, if you have the balls to go through the process.

A Z32 with no more than 75k miles? You're either gonna be importing one or looking for a unicorn.

Thanks for the responses guys. Blksylv, that one does look sweet. I've actually found one with 80k miles for under $9000. From reading the description, nothing seems wrong with it. Shouldn't I pull the trigger?

I'll pass on flying across the country. How come I'm finding some under 10k with under 100k miles then guys? Is there something I'm missing here?

^^^I think many of us have seen so many haggard, high mileage, beatdown Z32's that it's made us a bit jaded. Very cool cars, but the complexity of the engine means that many of them aren't cared for very well.

^^^100k miles is not sub 75k miles. $10k is a good price to pay for a well maintained Z32TT, though. I think many of us have seen so many haggard, high mileage, beatdown Z32's that it's made us a bit jaded. But I've always loved those cars. I highly recommend reading MotoIQ & Mike Kojima's Z32 build project: http://www.motoiq.com/Projects/Nissan/Project300ZXTT.aspx
I don't know why i can't copy a link, maybe because I'm on mobile but if you go on Henne distributing Co website, you can see one with 78k miles for around $8000. Does that seem good or no?

So what about this? Would this be a good deal?

IMO if you want "a deal" on a badass oem z32, youre gonna want to import one. Get something super low mileage, and keep it in the garage.

Have any sites you would recommend? I don't have a clue on how I would go about this. Would the car be US legal?

Japanese classics in Virginia usually has some nice stuff. But if you're going to go to all that trouble and you are okay with RHD you may as well get an r32 gtr.
