I Love Bees is what's known as an ARG (Alternate Reality Game). Which I think Meph was circling around this idea.

While the game is technically still going on, there are some things that have seemingly been revealed. The Halo 2 connection was first discovered at some movie theaters where they displayed the Halo 2 trailer before Spiderman 2, I Robot, and The Village. At the end of the trailer, when they show the Xbox logo along with'www.xbox.com', the website address flashes for a tiny split second to'www.ilovebees.com'. Blink and you probably missed it. The connection between them, however, has not made itself known.

If you want more information about it, here are some sites.
A brief History on ARG's (http://www.unfiction.com/history/)
Most of the info gathered about the ILB game (http://home.stny.rr.com/nward1/apiary/guide.htm) - Actually, a pretty haunting read if it were real.
Unfiction Forums (http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/index.php?c=15) where the people discuss possible outcomes and share data.
IGN Games tackles the Halo 2 connection (http://xbox.ign.com/articles/533/533929p1.html)

There were some pretty intense and well-thought ideas back in the early days of this phenomenon. Here's one...

Back when the possible connection between ilovebees and Halo 2 was being speculated, a webuse came up with this:

"If you rearrange:

"HALT - MODULE CORE HEMORRHAGE SYSTEM PERIL DISTRIBUTED REFLEX. STRONG INTRUSIVE INCLINATION. COUNTDOWN TO WIDE AWAKE AND PHYSICAL:"

You could get... "INDEX THIS IRONCLAD PREDICTION : HALO TWO SINGLE PLAYER DEMO CD-ROM DISK INCURSION AT AUGUST TWENTY FOUR. EARTH WILL NEVER BE THE SAME."'

Although, by that logic, you could also make...
"HALO TWO HAS BEEN CANCELLED. YOU ARE ALL HUGE SUCKERS" and still have 75 characters to spare.

I was going through the blogs of this and alot hints towards a microsoft adverstament, but who knows. This is still on going, so I'll keep people updated about this. If you go to the second link I posted up you can read a quick summary of whats going on and shit, its a good read if your bored at work or something, but still, this shit is really sick to think that people come up with this stuff for games hehe.

Also, a little more about the "Fun Stuff" page that was updated today with a series of coordinates and times.

Here's how that little bit worked.

1. Each set of coordinates leads to a payphone. In fact, there are a total of 210 documented pay phones.
2. At the time specified for each pay phone, the phone will begin to ring.
3. Someone must answer the phone and respond to this "What's my name? What's my nickname? What's the password?". The Answers are Mellissa, Operator, <password>.
4. The password depends on the coordinate. Whatever subsection it falls under is the password (ie blip, jersey, emergency, hi aiden, etc)
5. Once 2 people from each subsection correctly answer the phone questions, the axoms are considered "hot" and a new .wav file is added to the site.

No one knows what will happen when all sections are live or all axoms are hot (if that ever happens). It's obviously not over, so we shall see.

it's weird how all the payphones are at random places in the US.
