I am planning on running around 22psi. and hopefully eventually go over 400hp. It will be mounted to a top mount manifold.

Oh im SORRY..
I wanna know if anybody knows if it will fit without any clearance problems??
Top Mount SSAutochrome t3/t4 manifold.
I wanted a t70 but they told me it will hit the master cylinder.
let me get this straight; you wanted to run a T70 on a SR20?!? that turbo would surge like a mofo on the little 2 liter, no way you could spool it; you realize thats a 800hp+ turbo right?
either get a normal T3/T4 turbo like a 50-trim or something, or get some kind of GT-based turbo... the 2jz-gte motor has surge problems with a T70, requires a ported shroud to get rid of it...
the turbo in the picture has a very large hotside A/R; .84 is quite a bit, way too much for a little 400hp SR
ad seems a little fishy to me, the ad claims v-band exhaust side, but some of the pictures show a on-center discharge flange and others show a v-band...
22psi is going to be the near max on a 57 trim T04E, they arent setup to run higher boost levels and still be efficient... if you're wanting a turbo to run lots of boost with, get a 50-trim or a GT-series wheel/cartridge

K
So everyone is telling me i should go with this
t3/t4
.50 AR
.63 turbine
50 trim.
Will a 50 trim give me the 22 psi i am looking for reliable? I am also planning on upgrading the motor over the winter and running a powerfc and making alot more power. WIll this trim be right for me in thel ong run as well?
yup, 50 trim is still pretty efficient at 22psi and can be run higher than that to allow you more ceiling once you have more supporting mods :)
compressor maps are all over the place; there's a couple sites out there that teach you how to read them... helps out when you're curious what kind of efficiency you get with different trims
have fun
