It's that time again! I missed out on the last one, but I'll be damned if I miss out on it again! I was checking out the coverage online (social media) and it bummed me out that I missed out. I decided to make sure that I'd make the second one!

lol i've had my flight and hotels booked for almost 6 months. Can't wait for pequods and lorettas and spicy cheesy hash and HANGS.
i don't know if everyone knew, but last year i made the marathon trip from socal, drove my s13 all the way to chicago, then to shawano, ended up getting recruited to be part of team HOTBOYZ after Jordan crashed his miata, (me on the left, with jack and e-zap. We came in 4th). This event is some legendary shit and i'm incredibly stoked to be going back this year, even though i'll only be spectating.

Pretty sure most the people from the east coast wouldnt be taking 65. Normally cruise through the top of indiana on 90 which isnt bad.

i69 from Indy to I90 west is good and smooth.

From Fort Wayne 30west is smooth too.

Havent been on the highways south of indy or 65 in a while so I cant vouch.

I'd like to say a big THANK YOU to the promoters and event organizers for putting on such a great event. I believe what they say, you HAVE to go, and if you don't? I feel bad if you miss out.

There were soooooo many teams, and great drivers. There were some awesome looking cars, and drivers drove HARD all weekend. They deserve a lot of credit... A lot of them drove or traveled crazy miles to drive at this event. And it was not like they were holding back. My hat is off to you guys, much respect!

People were crazy friendly and great to talk to. It was nice catching up with people from this forum (as well as on FB and IG). It was nice to just kick it with people and shoot the breeze. A lot of my conversations were not even car related (conversations during breakfast for the win!)

Sorry if I missed you, I hope to catch you guys next year ;)

I swear I saw you in the stands man. Only reason I was sure it MIGHT be you is because I saw your instagram and was like "oh wait isn't that.." lol. I remember you asking my buddy if the seat in front of him was okay to sit down at and it didn't fully click for me at the time until now after im back home in NC :picardfp:

We drove all the way up from NC and had an absolute blast. The traffic leaving Chiraq Friday afternoon heading up to Shawano was ROUGH. Then even once we got past all of that there were just a crazy amount of cars heading towards Shawano and we were all trying to figure out why lol. The amount of good looking cars and how humble and down to earth eveyone was in the pits was great. I hope Jyworld made it back to TX after the little mishap!

Was great to finally meet Stickydiljoe, Hert, and Jyworld (Jimmy?) Cannot wait, hopefully, for Final Bout 3 next year!

yooo final bout 2 ruled, being able to drive 2 full days with virtually no car trouble also ruled. As a chicago native and usair local i can say ive never seen the track so packed with spectators (obviously) and the amount of stoke on the drivers list was peaking, so final bout 3 im sure will happen. However, it doesnt belong taking place anywhere else but shawano wisconsin.

I'd like to say a big THANK YOU to the promoters and event organizers for putting on such a great event. I believe what they say, you HAVE to go, and if you don't? I feel bad if you miss out.

There were soooooo many teams, and great drivers. There were some awesome looking cars, and drivers drove HARD all weekend. They deserve a lot of credit... A lot of them drove or traveled crazy miles to drive at this event. And it was not like they were holding back. My hat is off to you guys, much respect!

People were crazy friendly and great to talk to. It was nice catching up with people from this forum (as well as on FB and IG). It was nice to just kick it with people and shoot the breeze. A lot of my conversations were not even car related (conversations during breakfast for the win!)

Sorry if I missed you, I hope to catch you guys next year ;)
