Hello, I'm pretty new to the 240sx/S14 forums but I've always wanted to mess around with cars and such. Well I stumbled across a 1995 Nissan 240sx and would like input from experts to whether it would be a good project or would it be a waste of time.

Here are the Specs:

1995 Nissan 240sx
201,XXX mi
Manual Trans
Power moon roof, no leaks
Solid aluminum rear sub-frame bushings
New rear tires
Rear strut bar
Drivable

Bad things:
Rocker panel need to be replaced
Driver-side quarter panel is dented
Half of the exhaust fell off
Driver side window switch is shotty
High mileage

Asking $2600 OBO

What do y'all think?

Thanks for all of the input.

Pics are dead. Also, a "Help me buy an s chassis thread was just posted and made a sticky. You can just copy paste it there. Also, welcome to the forums and good luck finding a 240sx.

I'd pay about $700 for that car if it runs and drives and doesnt knock.

A great condition original parts 95 with 130k is right about $2500 +/- $500, add $500 if the dash is still soft and new (garage kept) and another $500 for original paint (even if it is fading/peeling) and subtract $500 if it had 200k

Yep. Went on web version and that is one of the ugliest and worst condition 240sxs I have ever seen. Be patient and wait for a good one near you or if you have the funds, ship one. I almost bought a horrible one because I couldn't find any others.

If he could get that guy down to like $700, it would be an okay parts car, but hats about it.
