The S13 speed sensors are identical. They work for CA, SR, and KA transmissions. The red pinion gear is used in KA24DE and SR20DET transmissions (and KA24E w/ sports package). Standard KA24E and CA18DE transmissions use a brown pinion gear. K's and Q's CA18 equipped cars used a different pinion gear, not sure what color.
