What's up guys. I've been building this car for the last 9 months and finally got it out to a shakedown.
The car is running a Haltech PS2000 and the standard MAC valve as an electric boost solenoid.
I was experiencing overboost cut issues all day - the motor was randomly spiking to 27psi which was triggering the cut of 4500rpm and dumping fuel into the motor (You can clearly hear this in the video)
Has anyone ever had issues like this?
The boost controller is setup to run on closed loop, start duty is 20%. The wastegate is a Tial 44mm with an 18psi spring. Target boost is 23psi.
Any ideas? I can post my map settings if anyone has Haltech experience.
Here's the video - you can hear the cut very clearly, the motor does not wrap out like it should otherwise.
