Some of you may remember the post I made about a week ago, I had a rear tire blow out on my coupe and it took out half the side of the car. I called nissan today to see if i can get a replacement quarter panel skin. And i can!
for about 500 bucks for the skin, and 300 to put it on, the best unknown body shop guy in town will put it on. woo hoo! pics to follow!

I thought you were going to say you just saved a bunch of money on your car insurance by switching to Geico.

That's expensive for a quarter panel, and cheap as hell for labor. Good luck.

yeah i got my 1/4 panel from a salvage yard for a lil less than $300, but along with all the labor, minor parts and painting the whole car it cost me another $2K
good luck

the only thing is there are no coupes in junkyards within about 50 miles. factor in the amount of time it will take to travel to a junkyard, with the cost, its about the same as me getting one from my local dealership, in NEW condition, at a cut cost due to the fact I know the parts guy. Works out good!
I think Im going to have the body shop guy fix the rest of the dents in my car while hes at it.

I literally just bought the passenger rear quarter for $75 dollars. We cut it off with a sawzall, went in a foot cut threw the trunk area and came out right next to the license plate. So far the cheapest Ive found to get it on is $500, and that includes factory super black. None of that helps anyone just figured I'd share.
