dude, the Gnose is the GHEY!!!! i love the stock noes sooooo much better, but i too am facinated by the Z and have wonted one sence the moment i laid eyes on it!!!!!!!!

i kinda have the itch to put my sr into one of those instead of my s13, since you can get away with doing anything to the 30year old chassis being exampt from smog etc.

When I was a kid, my bro had a 280z, I know not really the coolest, but in my eyes it was soo cool. I love the interior.

I work at a nursing home and one of the old folks said they had a red one (240Z). He said it hauled ass...
As he said it he was pretending to shift in his wheelchair. He's one hardcore jdm tyte old dude.

He also told me that the door locks were always screwed up, i dunno y.

Word. I had cut springs on mine too and it handled much better than my S14 ever did, even on bald crap 1982 tires. I think the springs were linear on these things, so cutting them isn't a big deal. I had ST sway bars too, which helped a lot.

Only thing I didnt like was the large amounts of chassis flex. Strut tower bars go a long way on these cars... especially when they are rusty like mine was.

If you're into the old car thing, this is the one to get, IMO. 510s are very nice too.

well, these cars tend to understeer. Plus the fact that i have 225/60/14's hahaha soo much flex. ehh. 240z's prolly handle better than mine considering they are lighter.

hehe.. hows the cost per maintanance/operation compared to costs of a s13? I know alot will depend on teh chassis i.e. rust etc. but I always wanted one of these cars, and my s13 is in need of some tlc right now and im jus thinking about if i dropped my sr into one and played with that instead....
