i've never heard of nex but i'm usually slow on finding stuff out. but i can tell you i dont like the name.

also by saying comparing them to "Tein, etc" what are you saying? Even popular brand name coils vary in price and quality. Tein is different from etc.

Hahah, about 3 year ago I was offered to try out those NEX coilover for my old Honda civic by a shop owner. Upon finding out that I was running Tokiko Illuminas and Skunkworks coilover on the car, he took back his offer and said "You're better off with what you're running on your car right now." A few other people I know tried it on their cars and had some bad feedback. Things such as no brake line bracket, too soft (softer than tokiko blues), weak spring rate. I was also told that they were made in Taiwan. Hopefully their products improved in the last 3 years, but I really doubt it. Take some pics if you get them.

Tein is different from etc.

Actually I heard Tein and etc. are produced in the same factory, but the etc. stuff is made of better components and on machinery that's ISO9002 compliant.
That's one of the main reasons I put all etc. stuff on my car instead of Tein.

one of my friends had some HA's before and he got the etc type 4's and the difference is awesome. they have separately adjustable rebound and adjustable spring rate

damn so you havent tried the type R6? those are a world of difference, it had a voice control module and you could just say race, and it would go to your preset race suspension, rumors also said you could say something like INDY Car, and it would transform... but i dont think its true...

he got the type 4's because of they had adjustable color too, and the fact that the r6's vcm isn't that accurate yet.

but i heard about the indy car thing too. think you have to know a code first to turn that on.

r6 is overrated and over priced! type 4 = teh awsome. along with adjustable color its also glow in the dark.. which is totally awsome! that reason alone makes it ideal for drifters and late night touge action!
