SO, i feel like I'm not alone when i say it sucks that theres not more options for lips out there for the pignose and buying the stock one just doesn't sit right with my wallet. But what is one to do when you have skirts and running no lip is not an option. I sought to solve this problem and I'm prbly not the first to do it. Google wasn't much help because all i found was threads for B13's and chuki s13's and variations of the home depot lip. I needed something that would at the very least come close to matching the side profile of my 180 skirts.
During these endless searches, the B13 threads inspired me to start walking around my local pick n pull and see what cars actually had lips and see if i could make something work. My options consisted of some early 90's volvos (didn't pay attention to the model), 90's jettas and accords. I had to rule out the jetta lip because of the way it mounted to the bumper so i scooped up a 5th gen accord lip.
First thing i noticed is a that the accords mounting points were gonna be pretty much useless so those came off. I also noticed that after moulding the lip to more closely fit the shape of the pignose, it was about 2 inches too long on both sides, so i lopped off the slack with a oscillating saw and zip tied that shit on there VIOLA. i got myself a lip! the side profile (in my opinion flows pretty well with the 180x skirts i got from Driven08 (THEY FIT AWESOMELY!) For the moment i only have a pic from the front and i have yet to address small issues like paint and cleaning up the spots where i cut the lip.
In summation,
I paid 20$ for the lip and made it fit with a oscillating saw (use whatever cutting device you want) and a heat gun to fit it to my bumper.

The 97 Accord Coupe Rear Lip looks pretty decent on the S-14 as well. My previous S-14 had it installed for 2 years. ill find some pics

It's 94-95 only. The newer accords it is part of the bumper. I only know because I was the first to do this on s14. Now ever POS wanna be drit kid has one zip tied to their rear bumper :picardfp: The rest of the car has to look good and you have to paint match it otherwise it looks like it's from a junkyard accord

Eh, I think it could look good, considering the price, but Im not a fan of seeing all the zip ties holding it in.

indeed, the zip ties aren't the best. anyone know of a different way to mount a lip other than the original hardware? 3M probably won't cut it if you're coming out of driveways.

You could 3m epoxy some tabs on the back. Zip ties do look horrible and you ruined your bumper to do that for no reason.

Well I guess it doesn't show in the pic but my bumper is already Swiss cheese so I didn't mind, at least till I can replace it with something nice

Anybody know of ant other OEM/junkyard lips that fit the USDM Zenki bumper? Searched around and found that a DC2 lip might fit with some modification. If that's true, then some DC2 lips may be compatible with Navan bumpers and others ones might fit with the USDM....

Oh no, but why risk changing such a good thing?
I mean that look is so unique. Its not every day we see cars with this setup.
Where did you get your illest sticker from? I need to get one for my car.
