Hello zilvia I'm just trying to find the best turbo for my setup.Right now I have a redtop with 550cc injectors/255lph walbro fuel pump/z32 maf/I will be getting a enthalpy tune once I choose the turbo.I'm only looking for 280 whp and wondering if an s14 t28 will do it or will it be maxed out,if it wont what turbo will work without being maxed?I cant afford a $1000 disco potato gt28rs and s15 turbo is also pricey so something around $500 range preferably.

Also regarding enthalpy tunes are they safe to plug and run or will I need to fine tune it?I was hoping for something I can plug n play without having to dyno it as long as its safe or rich.

S14 turbos typically max out around 250whp. Are you looking for a nice broad power curve or "peak" dyno numbers?

That power should be easy with isis 3071. People badmouth journal bearing turbos but most oem turbos are journal bearing and they last 100k plus miles all the time. When you decide on a turbo just give rs enthalpy a list of mods and they'll get it tuned right. Plug it in and go

Enthalpy tunes don't need fine tuning, and having an safc or something at the same time is only going to screw up the timing map. Just plug it in and go after it's tuned for your setup.

It has potential. G-Pop Shop http://www.gpopshop.com , can repair and rebuild it for you. I've personally dealt with them before and have had excellent experiences, going above and beyond what I expected.
