There's some pics in my Craigslist post but I will post more tomorrow.
I hate to do this but I need to get my ass back in school and this car is too much of a distraction right now.
$13,500 OBO NO TRADES
Registered and inspected (emission exempt). I built this car over the past year using the best parts available and without cutting corners. If you live in my area, you may have already seen or heard about this car.
This car was built with the intention of being my track/drift/street car. Because I don't have access to a trailer and tow rig, I over built it to be extremely reliable to I could drive it out of town to track events, drive all day, and turn back around and drive it home.
The engine, turbo and just about every other engine modification was chosen with responsiveness in mind. VVTI, Garrett GTX series using a twin scroll manifold, divided .82AR, turbo blanket and heat wrap on everything. I wanted to build a light car so I chose a coupe and utilizing every aluminum part I could get my hands on.
This car is much more reliable and has so much more potential than most setups you'll ever see from SRs, RBs and even most drop in LS swaps.
I have so many pictures of this build over the year, so if there is something you'd like a picture of I probably already have one. If not, let me know and I'll send you one.
I'm sure I left out a lot of parts from the listing but can't think of them all right now.
The only thing this car is missing is a paint and a cage.
If you are interested in buying, feel free to contact me if you have any questions about my car or you would like more pictures. Thanks

ENGINE
Car dyno tuned by JMS at 432whp & 410tq - very conservative and only 14psi of boost
AEM V2/AEM 3.5 bar map sensor/AEM IAT sensor
JDM 2JZ-GTE VVT-I purchased from Dallas JDM Motors. Has great compression, low mileage and does not smoke.
Garrett GTX3582R .82 divided T3 turbine housing/T3 to T4 manifold adapter/Taco T4 tubular manifold modified for Vband wastegate.
PTP Lava turbo blanket and heat wrap. Manifold, turbo and downpipe wrapped to reduce spool time and reduce under hood temps.
3" thin-walled stainless exhaust from turbo to bumper then expands to 4"
TiAL 44mm MVR wastegate currently with 1bar springs installed (comes with all springs)
TiAL Q 50mm BOV
Single piece aluminum intercooler piping. 2.5" on the hot side and 3" on the cold side.
Real Greddy front mount intercooler
Vibrant performance 90* turbo elbow
Titan Motorsport -3AN oil feed with .035 restrictor in turbo.
-10AN oil drain using Arizona Performance CNC'd flanges on turbo and oil pan.
-6AN PARKER 919 water feed and drain lines built by a hose shop. I had problems with EARLS AN hoses leaking so I dished out some cash for these.
Vibrant Performance AN adapters in turbo for water lines.
PTP Fire sleeve over oil feed and water feed/return lines
Freed Engineering engine and transmission swap kit with Cusco engine mounts.
Freed Engineering AEM V2 custom plug-n-play engine & transmision harness made for my specific setup, utilizes factory fuse boxes and relays, no jumper harnesses. Made to plug into non-VVTi throttle body and IACV to delete the VVTi drive-by-wire throttle body.
Harness is wrapped in Cool-tec heat reflective sleeve where it comes close to the turbo and manifold.
Engine was refreshed with OEM or better parts before installation including:
OEM Toyota oil pump/water pumpidler pulley/timing belt tensioner/OEM gaskets and orings for everything from valve cover gaskets down to the dip stick tube and oil pickup orings.
OEM Toyota front and rear main seals
Gates Racing timing belt
OEM Denso ignition coils
NGK spark plug leads
Non-VVTi upper plenum, throttle body, IACV, TPS
Raw Brokerage stainless high pressure power steering hose
Power steering cooler mounted between radiator and intercooler
Catch can plumbed into intake tube before turbo to properly pull vacuum out of crankcase.
Dimple magnetic drain plug and "black hole" oil filter magnets

DRIVETRAIN
MK3 R154
OEM Toyota 1JZ bellhousing
Freed Engineering extended shifter housing with added breather
Marlin Crawler shifter bushing and socket
Marlin Crawler VSS
OEM 1JZ flywheel
ARP 4AG flywheel bolts
Clutch Masters FX500 clutch-amazing pedal feel
New OEM Toyota throw out bearing and all hardware including all washers and clips needed
New OEM slave and master cylinders
Hardline from clutch master converts to a braided line going into slave cylinder to take stress from torque off of the hard line.
Both OEM Toyota inspection plates on bell housing.
Oem Toyota rear tailshaft seal
Running Redline lightweight shockproof gear oil. I used MT90 for a while but feels much better with the shockproof
Shaft Masters steel 1-piece driveshaft
WEIR PERFORMANCE DIFFERENTIAL SPOOL
Redline Heavy Weight Shockproof gear oil in differential

COOLING
KOYO sr20 N-flow radiator
2JZGTE fan clutch for NA-2JZ fan blades
7M-GTE fan shroud
SPAL 11" pusher e-fan 970cfm
OEM Toyota TRD 160F thermostat
I went with a clutch fan because nothing beats the efficiency and reliability of a proper clutch fan. Also to avoid cooling issues with an AC condensor in place. Unfortanately I need to sell the car asap so there isn't time to get the air conditioning woring.
Coolant temps never get above 190F when driving in the 100F degree Texas heat.
If you've researched this swap then you know how difficult it is to keep these engines running at the proper coolant temps.

FUEL DELIVERY
Fuel Injection Clinic black anodized fuel rail with dual -8 feeds and -6 return.
ID1000 injectors, brand new when initially installed.
Anodized aluminum fuel injector bungs.
Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator mounted to intake manifold with Freed Engineering bracket.
Bosch 044 fuel pump in tank on the stock fuel pump hanger
Syntec fuel sock adapter
-6 fuel feed to 40 micron primary filter then to 5 micron secondary filter. Splits to dual -8 lines entering the fuel rail.
-6 return back to fuel tank. All fuel lines have been rerouted to the drive side frame rail.
10 gauge wiring directly from battery to fuel pump using Macro fuse and relay.
I built the fuel system so that I could get an E85 flex fuel tune so everything is overkill for the curent power it is making.

SUSPENSION
New Stance SS coilovers with 10k front springs/6k rear springs and Z32 rear lower mounts. Still have the 8k fronts.
SPL Solid subframe bushings
Voodoo13 aluminum front tension rods/RUCAs/Traction rods & Toe rods all registered with the lifetime warranty.

How did you make it so reliable and smog legal?

First, welcome to zilvia, I'm honored to have you join just to post on my thread lol.
I don't know what the law is in other states, but in Texas, a car is emissions exempt when its 25 years old. You still have to get a safety inspection, but it's exempt from smog testing if they do that in the county your vehicle is registered in.
Regarding this car's reliability, there aren't very many stock block engine options that can take a beating like a JZ can, especially one with a single turbo. The only real issue with these motors is the stock twin turbo setup which I did away with. Also, I feel that Garrett turbos are much more reliable than a Precision and Turbonetics like most people run. Yes, a Garrett GTX turbo costs the same as a 2J longblock, but you're getting a turbo that can handle just about anything you can throw at it, granted it has the correct oil supply/restrictor. The differential is also a weak point. Most people get a welded diff and drive it fine without any problems and that's fine, but if it does break, you could be potentially stranded. The spool in this car is forged and heat treated chromemoly steel, you will never break it. The output shafts on the diff would break first and I've only seen that happen launching on track-bite with slicks. Before I bought a part for this car, I would research all available options and pick the best one. Every part on this car down to the bushings in the control arms was picked for a reason.

Seriously nice car GLWS. I'm still perplexed how you spent over $17k, how much over because I did a 1jz swap and am over $20k already with not as much to show

I got a lot of parts through forum dealers and a few close friends that own performance shops. That and my brother is an awesome fabricator so he did all my IC piping, modding the manifold and the full exhaust as well which saved me a lot of money.

I'm down south getting close to Buda. I've been the to Carls Jr meet before and one of the Cobb meets a while back.
I've had the car for over a year now. I've only been driving it for a few months though.

Yeah yeah, nice car, zoom zoom, but where's the A/C?

The compressor is sitting on a shelf in my garage. I had full intention of getting the AC working, but I need to stop putting time and money into it and get started with building my career.

Coupes are where it's at man! I couldn't stand my old hatch! Nothing beats the simplicity of a coupe, as well as the weight savings. That's just my opinion though.

It's a AEM V2 6050 with a Freed Engineering engine harness. It plugs directly into the ecu, no jumper harness.

I have cruised along side this car over 40 miles on the highway and I have seen the engine in person without the valve covers and the insides are like new. This is a good deal.

Where did you get the lower intake runners pretty sweet?

Pretty sure that's just the stock runners painted or powder coated.

Where did you get the lower intake runners pretty sweet?

It's just the stock lower plenum powder coated black, nothing special.
Unlike a 1J, the 2JGTE uses an upper and lower which makes it so much easier to work on and swap injectors.
