wiring speakers

Whats up all, well my car only came with one working speaker, so I bought a couple rockford fosgates and installed one in the rear and one in the front passenger side. As for the front driver side, i connected the speaker to try to see if it plays and nothing. I guess the wiring is bad somewhere, how do i determine where this could be?
