Electrical gremlin strikes again. Yes I've searched but none of those "fixes" worked for me.
Pretty much my problem is that the car runs fine, turn the key to start the car (everything ok), turn the key to shut off the car (the car still runs, but all the accessories will turn off) the only way for me to currently turn off the car and turn off the accessories is if it I (remove the fuel pump fuse which kills me engine, and the alternator 75a fuse which kills all the accessories/dummy lights so I don't drain my battery)
Need some help from the zilvia electrical guru's
*changed the ign switch/cylinder lock (nothing)
*swapped ECU (nothing)

It has to be a relay sticking. Check your relays in the drivers kick panel.

sounds like it relates to eccs

i had the same issue with a red top sr. the fuel pump diode on the ecu was burnt..

He mentioned that he swapped ECUs, so, that should be ruled out.

If you recently wired something in to the factory wiring? I'd start there. Then move on to non ecu essential relays and fuses, you know like running lights and brake lights.
What you are really describing is a fire hazard, and it should be fix at your earliest convenience.
Electrical is my second love, although a pain in the ass to find shorts or whatever the reward is much greater. You just have to think smarter than some 2000yr old gremlin.

It is very possible that both ECUs are bad, unless you took it from a known good running car. And when it went back to its car after being tested in yours that it ran good. Typically when they do not shut off its a grounding issue, alt ground and other dash harness grounds being the culprits in cases I saw.

i will check this out tomorrow, out of town so really havent had the chance to look at this

ECU can be clearly ruled out, ecu that i swapped was from a friends car that ran fine before we plugged it into my car, and ran fine after we removed it from my car and plugged it into his car.
i forgot to mention that i had a tire rubbing issue, but have since then relocated my harness but im still having this issue

It is nearly IMPOSSIBLE that BOTH ECU's are bad. ECU failures are very uncommon to begin with, much less 2 ECU's with the EXACT same failure.
OP: You've clearly got power somewhere you're not supposed to. I would start by un-plugging the ignition switch and see if the car shuts off. From there I would pull a wiring diagram and power distribution diagram and start testing for power in the ignition circuit. Make sure you check the wiring in the driver's front fenderwell as well. I've seen it get rubbed through by the tire, short to power and cause issues like this before.

You need to double and triple check this section of the harness that was rubbed on. Remove the black plastic loom over the entire section and go over every wire. You'd be surprised at what you find.

This is exactly where you should start. While ECU failures are rare, they can happen. Again, VERY unlikely. Like ^^^ said, check the harness, especially if you've had any rubbing issues. Sounds like a short to me, but i fuckin hate electrical, so I always stick to the basic easy diagnostics first!

Sounds like a short. Check your harness in the fender wells. You'd be surprised how many wires you could be missing.

The ignition switch input on ECU pin 36 is being powered, probably via a short in the harness, all the time. When that input turns OFF, power to the coil is turned OFF and the ECU begins the shutdown procedure.
