1st of all i did a seach on this topic but couldnt find anything. anyways, at the moment im leaning to buy used GAB coilovers...the only thing thats makign me think twice is, what happens if one shock blows? tein and tanabe have usa distribuators, so its easy to overhauled the blown shocks etc... as for the GAB used coilovers, how would i replace one of the shocks if somethign where too happen? or i cant since its from japan only...sorry for my noob question.

I don't think they have a US distributor, maybe someone that imports a few every now and then, but not an official distributor. You could call shop that does imports like Jspec and ask around there. That's where I'd start.

since overhauling is nearly impossible here in the states, i think it'd be cheaper just to buy a new shock. you would have to deal with sending it to Jp, and paying for shipping for it to return (also possibilities of damage in transit).

if i were you though, i'd think more economically. save up more money and purchase a better quality product. used suspension is not always a good idea.

about the "used suspension is not always a good idea" i attucally agree with you on that. its just that these USED GAB coilovers are selling for $420..thats pretty cheap hoenslty..and i already rode in the car. im only asking just in case one of the schocks gives....do u guys think thats a good deal?
