Hey guys - got this car in trade a couple years back on here, so figured I'd post it up to continue the cycle. Mainly thinking dollars, will totally consider trades but I'm pretty much looking for a SR20DET S13 coupe with cash on my end. May take other RWD Japanese stuff, RX7, Datsun 510, S30.
I got this car off the trailer from Florida. It's totally rust free, which is a blast to work on after plenty of ****ty New England cars. That's right, you can reasonably expect to do whatever you want without trying to remove one stuck bolt for like 2 hours. The only downside is that the shipping company managed to scuff up the front bumper in transit, but there is some touch up paint somewhere that I'll include if you want to go nuts. This car was JUST INSPECTED in May so you know you're good on that front.
Cosmetically, the top is in great shape, no paint fade or clearcoat peel, again zero rust, the wheels are ok but could be better, and the seats are pretty trash. Miata leather was not known to really stand the test of time. If the car doesn't wind up selling, I'll put race buckets in there.
Now, for the good stuff:
Factory Bose sound, Tan Leather, Torsen LSD (frikkin awesome locks right up)
Suspension/footwork: Fat Cat coils (best of the best) with Bilsteins, FM front and rear sways, front strut tower bar, Hard Dog roll bar. Dunlop DZ102's with like 5k miles on them
Engine: Cobalt Exhaust, relocated intake, Comp Clutch Stage 1 Clutch (like 2k miles on it), Comp Clutch 10lb flywheel, FM clutch bypass (starts without the clutch in to prevent wear)
Maint:
All fluids around 6k miles ago except diff fluid, which was done about 10k before
New Gates PS/Alternator belts
Replaced master and slave cyls, had a problem with the clutch disengagement and that fixed it
New NGK Plugs/Wires, went with Integra plugs, Miata people swear they're better. they do feel better, but that could just be because it needed plugs
Soft Top, Timing Belt replaced at 125k
Regular oil changes with Castrol synthetic
Some pics. I know they're crappy. I can get more if ya want
