+1, unless their new stuff is 100x better than old. An audio shop owner advised me against Audiobahn, and then showed me why, as he hooked up a 300w amp to a 500w rms speaker, and blew it.

The new Audiobahn stuff is MUCH better than the old stuff.

But still not that great.

At any rate, since you're paying for stuff, I'm assuming its not full sponsorship.. but oh well, thats still a great price.

If I were you, I'd buy a bunch of shit to resell it on eBay... what do you have to do in return for them? Big ass sticker over the side of your car?

i have to put a sticker on:
sideglass....a little one x2(one on each side
backglass...big en
enclosure
300watt amp to your audiobahn subss huh...well if its a 300 watt amp, thats its peak power, so it was probably a 200 watt amp rms, and then he ran 100 watts a peice, depending on wiring to 500rms sub, and when it wasnt loud you turn it up by volume on the deck, then the gain levels, and guess what it was distorted, distortion kills speakers.... i like alpine and right now i have 2 sets of components, and a sub....but i llike haveing matching stuff, so im gonna try and pull this off:)

but on paper the new audiobahns seem to have really high standards
like check the specs on this flip out deck

If you are paying for the equipment even if its 1 cent. Then its not sponsored.

You don't owe anything to anyone if you pay for the products.

ok so partial sponsorship.....all in all, the stuff i plan on buying is around 5 grand, he is making me one of his demos, and all i have to pay is half of his cost of the equipment so im paying around 1200 for it all....... plus hes a really good friend so i dont mind exposing his business a little....but wow, i should have a nice clear stereo with a range from 20hz-25khz.....not to bad in my opinion.
