Hello everyone, I am currently trying to put ac on my sr20. I have ran across that the idler pulley does turn rough and should be replaced before I try to use it. Is the ka idler pulley compatable for the sr pulley? They look the same but no way of comparing measurements or anything. If anyone has ran across this and has any info it would be great appreciated! I have researched and could not find a definite answer. Thanks.

If they look the same and it bolts on it should work fine. depth measurement would be important to ensure the belt lines up straight on the pulley.
I assume you are using codyace AC brackets
You can also possibly get a new idler pulley bearing or the actual pulley from nissan

I only based them looking the same from looking online. They are like 44 bucks for the ka pulley from Nissan and didn't want to risk it not being right. And yes i purchased the one and only codyace bracket. I can just try and order one aftermarket and if it don't work I can return it. Just trying to do a little research before hand.

I ended up finding a s14 ka idler pulley and it seems to have the same depth and lines up just right. The diameter was just a couple mm less but that wasn't an issue. Problem solved. Thanks

They use an NSK bearing, get one for $5 and press it in. Thats what I did
