That's right. Ten years. Longer than any relationships I've had.:picardfp:

We've traveled 100k miles, 4 engine swaps, 31k on latest stock rebuilt SOHC.

Lots of autox runs, Laguna Seca track days and touge runs. But no drifting.

She needs paint and a rebuilt trans, but she still soldiers on.

I have other cars I can drive, but she's my daily driver.

Here's hoping for another 10 years!

Pic is from 2012 or '13.

Badass man. Way to stick with her. I have friends that can't seem to stick with the same car for more than 10 weeks.

God, I wish I still had my original hatch. I'll try to stay true to my S14 this time around. Congrats,OP!

Why so many engine swaps in 100k miles though? That's like getting 25k miles on average out of each motor.... =\

I'm approaching 5 years with my hatch, glad to see owners sticking with a single chassis and keeping it going!

Im nearing the 10 year mark with my hatch. Got it as soon as I turned 16.

Ive thought about selling it a few times but it was nothing serious. I always knew that if I really did sell it that I would never find one as good as the one I have now.

Congrats! I kept trying to get away from the S-chassis, but every time I saw a clean one on the freeway it would make me regret not having one.

I recently purchased my 7th 240 (fastback) from the original owner, and this one isn't going anywhere. Lol

I've had my coupe for about nine years now, and it's probably been the most reliable car I've ever had. This is one I won't let get away.

Bought mine in 2003, still my daily. It's changed it's appearance numerous times but still my first chassis.

Coming up on 10 years with my '97. So many good memories, I could never sell it.

Thanks guys! It's definitely a love-hate with the S13. Right now, I have a problem with the starter.

Why so many engine swaps in 100k miles though? That's like getting 25k miles on average out of each motor.... =\

1st and 2nd engines were used engines. I had a car payment (Lexus) and was trying to keep the miles on the Lexus low. So I got used engines.

3rd was a rebuilt engine, but there was a valve stuck open. So out it went to get sorted by the shop.

And that's how it's had 4 engine swaps in 100k miles.

I can relate. I can't even remember the sheer amount of times I have injectors foul out on me. S14 has never had that problem. Still miss my S13 though.

Awesome! I'm on my 6th year with my hatch now. Wouldn't get rid of it for pretty much anything. I feel you on the swaps too. I had 2 different engines by the time I put 20 miles on the car. First engine had a cracked block. Then engine 2 developed rod knock after a solid year of beating(drifting). Engine 3 had a few head gasket changes but nothing real big. Now I have a 1jz because I was bored of the ka and I couldn't be happier!
