He has sold multiple J30's for $285 shipped. $325 seems reasonable.

I have purchased parts from Killer in the past and everything was clean and well organized. Worth every penny.

Haha maybe in Florida, you two just keep reinforcing the stereotype.

I'm not shipping beanie babies here. I spend a good amount of time packing these correctly so nothing gets damaged during shipping. I believe my price is more than fair for what you are receiving. If you have an offer in mind I'd be willing to hear you out if you as to so much think you can convince me.

If you have any further questions or concerns I'm available through PM at all times.

I understand that you package these nicely. One would expect for $50 you would package them nicely given someone paid you their hard earned money for them. Its just ironic that you guys notoriously say the most incredible things and have outrageous asking prices. The going rate it seems these days is $150 locally for the entire differential in the housing. How you expect someone to pay you double that for a pinion gear they cannot even use properly is ridiculous. Bearings go with their respective races which it appears you did not take out of the housing. If you do take the race out of the housing the backlash will be wrong for that housing and whichever housing the buyer puts the diff set in. The spacers are chosen very specifically to set the pinion preload from the factory. Some poor buyer will have the pinion either too tight or moving forward and backward when they accelerate or decelerate. 1000 miles later with a failed differential they would be very pissed at you for $285+.

You can put this into any R200 housing using the shims, spacers, and bearing races from your old differential, swap on the ring gear from your old differential and guess what, the backlash will be the same! Why is that? Because those were the same components originally inside the pumpkin dictating ring & pinion positioning NOT the bearing races... Nissan has many different part numbers for SHIM thickness but the bearing races are all the same part number.

Not only have I been fooling around with differentials for the last 8 years, I've driven on many differentials on many different setups for years, and I have friend's who also have differentials prepared for by me. Never in my life have I had a differential fail or anyone that I have helped install a differential for.

The problem unfortunately is people don't understand a lot about these systems and how they work, so it is VERY easy to install something incorrectly. I am more than willing to help anyone with any questions they may have in regards to installing a differential successfully into their pumpkin.

LOL every bearing has a matching race. If you mismatch the race with the bearing, it is wrong, period. Can you Zilvia rig it and get away with it because your POS 240 doesn't make enough power or run long enough to break it, sure! But it will bite you in the end and take a perfectly good differential capable of running another 150k miles into a ticking time bomb. How do I know? I have worked on race car transmissions for years and have seen many occasions where this bites in the end. Contributing to the f'd up ghetto rigged culture of these cars... Florida for you...

You do realize you can buy races individually right? Now why do you think that is? Because they are mass produced and not individually made to fit each individual bearing. It's the same as engine bearings. When you're putting race bearings in you put either standard, .25, or .50 oversized in. You don't get specific bearings down to .001 measurements for each individual bearing.

Angular contact bearings such as wheel bearings or differential bearings are nothing like engine bearings. As a bearing wears into a race it sets in its own personal "fingerprint" basically. You cannot mix them properly. New race goes with a new bearing. They can be intermixed when new but once ran the correct thing to do is keep them together to control wear. Come on man you know this, quit being ignorant. Not to say you can't get away with it for temporary use in low stress environments... my car would for sure strip a pinion in hours if I did this. The pinion moves forward and backwards after a while which obviously creates continuously varying backlash. No good.

Go troll somewhere else please.

Unless the bearings are worn or scorched from neglect, you can interchange them without issue. How do I know this? Because I've weighed a new bearing race to a good conditioned used bearing race and their weights were identical right down to the milligram. Not only that, but I've driven my 240sx over 70,000 miles without issue. More miles than 90% of the people on here ever get to experience.

Now if the bearings are worn and bearing races scorched, it is recommended to replace them. I would not advise putting scorched bearing races from one set to a worn bearing set on another differential (which is what you are implying).

You can still buy these bearings new that come with new races for around $60 a pop, if you were concerned with the bearings and their respective condition.

If you have any other comments or troll attempts send me a PM and stop cluttering up my for sale thread.

Thanks.

And you know it isnt going to affect it, you're just trying to help deter others from buying this so that they will buy yours.

I've been running my j30 chunk in my s13 housing with the s13 races for over 2 years of constant abuse and have never had an issue. I ran my other one for 4 years and it's still running in someone else's car after I traded it. Just stop. You're both selling the same thing and that's fine, but don't be a little bitch and try to stoop down to this level to sell yours first.

Btw, to end this bickering... the bearing races are included with this differential, just not pictured.

Also, price is now $285 shipped.

Come and get it!
