After I installed them I tried to rotate the shock body in a clocwise direction in order to lower the ride height without comprimising strut travel. Well the Driver's side was easy to rotate, by tightening upper spring perch and it's locking pertch, then rotating the top perch so that the entire shock body rotates.

I then did the exact same thing to the passenger's side, but it was extremely hard to rotate it. I had to use the spanner wrench and hit it with a hammer continuously in order for the shock body to rotate.

Does anyone else have this problem, or is something wrong with my coilovers? I bought them from the group buy on NICO.

please help,
DbD

have you tried just unbolting it and just screwing the mount up instead of doing it while its bolted up?

Yeah, but that doesn't seem like the proper way to do it, ecspecially when the driver's side was so easy to do!

Just unbolt the top mount and then adjust it. It is much easier this way (trust me).

And I've seen a set of JIC blow out from adjusting like that...

The piston was turning inside the body, and it blew the seal.

Just FYI...be careful with them.
