s13 and s14 redlines

I think I've asked this question before... but never recieved a decent answer...

What are the redlines for an s13 and s14.
I was thinking that 6900 for a s13... is this correct?
Also.. my auto '96 has only 6500 rpm redline...
Is it an auto tranny thing, or what is the real reason that my s14 has a lower redline?

I know the S13 has a 6900 rpm redline.  Don't know about the S14.

6,500 redline in the S14.....can go a little higher though.....I don't, but knowsome who do....

those are the figures for the 240SX w/ KA24DET
the Jap Spec S13 has redline at 9000... ^.^

it could be that the reason your redline is lower is cause you have an auto.  the comp cant shift as good as a real person so in order to preserve the transmission longer they make the redline lower

J-spec s13 redline at 9000?? I doubt that...  you mean the skyline right?
