i've heard several bad things about jic having terrible customer service, quality control problems, and repeated failure on several componets. the only problem is that so far they seem to be the only company that has what i want = (
looking for a monotube design which isnt the hard part to get but more with the adjustable shock perch. do any other companys offer these things or am i limited to to jic. oppinons and such on this will be taken along with flames since they are inevitable

adjustable shock perch=you can change the height independent of the spring height.

Why don't you call them and ask a few questions.

Does JIC service their stuff in the US yet? or do you still have to have them send it away?

damn! only problem with the kts coilovers are that the springs are not available in different rates
only 8kg/mm for front and 6kg/mm rear. is there anyway to possibly get around this by being a bit ghetto and using another companys springs?

mm..if you consider getting d2's over KTS cause of the spring rates..i'd say you have your priorities mixed up. It's far more important to have better quality shocks. They are one of the few companies that put out a shock dyno for their product and compared them to Tein Ra's which are mid to high end Tein product. What spring rates do you want anyways? If it's like 9/7 i'm sure you can still make it work, but i wouldnt. Just stick with the specs. I HIGHLY doubt your car is so perfectly setup anyways. 8/6 is good for street/track. I got tein HA's with 8/6. They are MORE COMFORTABLE than my SOFTER kyb/ground control setup, plus they have less body roll and they keep the car more stable over bumps.

i dont know what spring rates i need, i was just looking for that extra adjustability. my friends dad use to road race competitively and he said he would help me dial the suspension in. theres also the "magic numbers" that sportcompact car came up with there set up, mike wanted to use those for the base set up and go from there
